Cookie Mania

Just wanted to write a quick post letting you all know that I am in Austin this week making cookies for a Halloween party at Dell. I have just finished the 500th decorated sugar cookie and am about to do my happy dance! My hands are cramped, my eyes are googly and I have royal icing in my hair, but it has been awesome! Now, I am about to start the 30 dozen specialty drop cookies that they ordered.
I have gone through, so far 60 sticks of butter, isn't that hilarous?
I have lots of pictures to post, but will wait until I am in front of my own computer back in NJ.
Happy Halloween everyone!

You gotta go eat at Chuy's for Tex-Mex, County Line for BBQ or Hoover's for southern cooking. Do not eat at a chain!

Sixty sticks of butter sounds glorious!! Mmmmm, butter. Have fun!

Holy Moly 60 sticks of butter and you're not even done yet!

Can't wait to see the pictures of all your hard work. And enjoy the weather we're having right now- it's gorgeous!

Happy Halloween and safe travels!

And since you're by Dell try and have lunch or breakfast at Cafe Java- my favorite breakfast place ever and they serve it all day long!

xoxo,
Monica

Hey Shelly, good news. We got the house cleaned up and all the kids are still alive for your arrival home tonight.

We miss you! Have a safe trip.

ps: We understand if you do not feel like cooking for a few days.
