More Ice cream fake-outs and a fun Giveaway!

Yes, here we go again...Ice cream cone cupcakes.
I was busy baking these up yesterday and ready to post today when I turned my computer on and checked Bakerella's site and she beat me to the punch.
Don't you hate that??
Well, I certainly don't hate her, that might be blasphemy, but she did school me on on ice cream cone cuteness!
I do, however, have something she doesn't...a giveaway.
Y'all like free stuff right?
So here's how this happened.
When I posted these cuties a few weeks ago I griped and complained about them flopping over...remember my funny Pamela Anderson analogy?  Sorry, I thought I was being clever...that doesn't happen that often ;)
So anyway, the point being ~ baking in cones is hard!
So a few of you awesome readers turned me onto a site called kupcakekonz.  I was intrigued, so upon your recommendation I checked it out, and I urge you to as well.
It's brilliant!
They perfected the art of baking in cones.
So, long story short they sent me an awesome combo kit and lots of fun accessories that I can't wait to try out!
The whole mess of stuff also came in a storage container...which, to me, is a necessity!
So the day came to try out the loot, and I will tell you the pan is perfection.  It made my life so much easier.  I baked and removed with no wobbling, no tipping...nothing!
It also was perfect for frosting the cones and transporting them as well.
I made these last year for my son's Easter party and getting them to school was a nightmare.  I drove, literally, 15 mph, holding up all sorts of traffic and still had casualties.
I should make a bumper sticker for the car that says "Cupcakes on Board"...you'd buy it, right?
Well, here's what I made for my inaugural kupcakekonz bake...
Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Cones
Oh yeah!
They look yummy, right?
I used a boxed brownie mix for these...your judgment is no good here, I am not a brownie snob.
But wait, there's more (I've always wanted to say that, hehe)...
You know those yummy Drumsticks that you buy at the supermarket?  Well, isn't everyone's favorite part the bottom where the cone is all filled with chocolate?
So, with that mind-set I stuck a mini pb cup down in there as a yummy surprise.
Oh mini peanut butter cup, how I love thee.
I mean anyone who wouldn't get excited about a surprise peanut butter cup is dead to me.
Dead.
I am THAT serious.
Ok-I take that back ~ maybe not dead, how about temporarily stunned?
...you are temporarily stunned to me...
yes, better.  Not as dramatic.
Anyway,
Here are the details...
Make your brownie batter.
Easy.
Stick a pb cup in each cone.
Top with batter.  Don't fill it up all the way...2/3's is a good amount.
I baked at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool and top with delicious pb frosting
Top with another pb cup.

You wanna see?
Oh my sweet Lord, you are beautiful, Peanut Butter Brownie Cone.
Just rolls off you tongue, doesn't it?

PB frosting:
1 stick softened butter (I used salted)
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
5 cups sifted powdered sugar
2 T. heavy cream or whole milk

Beat butter and peanut butter together
Slowly stir in powdered sugar.
When combined mix on med for 1 minute or until smooth.
Add milk.
Mix again.
Add more powdered sugar for a stiffer frosting, more milk for more creamy.

Still with me?
Now because you all are so great, AND because you guys are the reason that I came across this awesome product, I asked the nice people at kupcake konz if they would give a lucky reader a shot at winning one of these cool pans.
They said yes, because they're great they offered up a combo kit, like they sent me and a squeeze bottle for easy filling...
Here's what you have to do..."follow me" for 1 entry and "fan me" on facebook for a 2nd entry.
If you follow me in a "reader" just leave me a comment telling me that.
Also, please please please my smart and loyal followers ~ PLEASE leave me your email address if you don't have it in your profile.  I really want to give you something for free here, make it easy on me!
**Also - if you can't wait for the givaway to end and NEED A PAN RIGHT NOW, when you place your order mention that you saw them here and she will throw in a free squeeze bottle with any size order!  How great is that?!

So, there you go...2 chances to win this fun prize.  What do you have to lose here?  Oh yeah...making awesome cupcakes with no hassle.
There are so many things that you could do with the pans I urge you to go check it out.  They're not a huge investment and I just wish that I thought of the idea first!
Giveaway ends on Sunday, July 25th 11:59 pm
