Today my friend Robyn from Add a Pinch is blog-sitting for me!
I have been on vacation for a while in Naples, Florida living the life of leisure..that's why I have had so many fun guests stopping by.
I wrote a guest post for Robyn a while back, so I was extra excited when she agreed to do one for me.
She's a sweet Southern girl who is just as sweet as the recipe she has created for us today!
I adore her and I know you will too!
I'm so excited to be sharing one of my family's recipes with y'all.
I have to admit that when Shelly asked me about guest posting, I was so nervous! She always has the most delicious treats along with the funniest stories. To say I am completely in awe would be an understatement.
I kept thinking, "what in the world can I make for Shelly?"
Then I remembered this delicious and simple icebox peach pie that we've been making in my family for years. I know it's not a cookie or a cupcake, but it is definitely good and makes everyone happy.
Men love it because it's just good.
Women love it because they "think" it's light.
Oh well, we'll just go along with that for today.
This icebox peach pie is a go-to recipe anytime during the year, but especially when the weather heats up. One big bite of rich, creamy, peach lusciousness and you'll surely hear plenty of "mmmmm... that's good pie."
I promise.
Now I'm about to let you in on the other little secret, you only need four things to make this pie.
Four.
And about five minutes to get it ready.
Sounds better already, doesn't it?
Once you have all the ingredients mixed together and divided between the pie crusts, just pop it into the freezer for at least eight hours.
Now, you've got plenty of time to go shopping, finish that new book, or whatever else your heart desires.
No one will ever know you spent five minutes on this dessert.
Here's how I make it.

Mmmm...looks cool, refreshing and delicious! I just made another batch of my vanilla bean peach preserves today, so I definitely have peaches on the brain. Thanks for recommending on StumbleUpon!

Great looking peach pie! Don't much care if it's not *light*, just know I would love a slice or two of it :)
I love everything about this!!
You're really getting to me with your peach posts, Robyn! But in a very good way. Lovely. Looks so refreshing and summery.
How super fast and easy! Perfect.
Mmmmm... 5 minute pie. I'm usually more into baking but maybe I'll stray from the ol' stand-by just this once...
Robyn is a peach . . . and i really do wish we were neighbors . . . but then again, maybe that's a good thing . . . well at least for her . . . because i'd park my hiney on her doorstep every stinkin' day of the week for this pie . . .
